FROM RAW MATERIAL TO REINFORCEMENT
Incoming scrap is chemically tested. Non-ferrous and cast iron impurities are removed before weighing and furnace transfer.
Scrap and sponge iron are melted. Slag is skimmed and spectrometer analysis regulates carbon content before de-oxidation.
Secondary refining homogenizes chemistry and temperature, removes sulfur and inclusions, and enables micro-alloying.
PLC-controlled casting forms billets in 100 × 100, 110 × 110, 130 × 130, 160 × 160, and 200 × 200 mm cross-sections.
Hot billets undergo high-speed rolling and controlled water quenching to develop a tempered martensitic exterior and a ductile ferrite-pearlite core.
